As we know, global warming is having a significant impact on hundreds of plant and animal species around the world, including humans. But how many of us is doing our parts on preventing this issue?

Ikea Singapore is encouraging shoppers to carry their own reusable bag during shopping. By using reusable bags during shopping trips, we will use fewer plastic bags and help to conserve the earth’s resources.

Then I came across another article saying that San Fransciso has decided to go one up alternative scale by banning the use of plastic bags in large supermaket chains. With this simple move it would save up to 450,000 gallons of oil a year and will disminish the annual 1,400 tons of debris being sent to landfills per year.

From there we can noticed that by making simple changes in our everyday lives, we can make significant strides to improve the planet we all share.

But how many of us are doing this?…i admitted that myself are among one of them. I used to asked for as many plastic bags as i can when i shopped for groceries in Tesco (to be used as garbage bag in my house). Feel a bit guilty now…,…may be i shall start to reduce the usage on plastic bag…and dun ask for additional plastic bag in Tesco…

Sometimes i’m really think that Google will eventually control the whole world of internet. More & more google applications have been created which allow us to do most of the thing within our Internet Browser. Let me give some of the example here…

Initially we have Gmail which was in beta version with 1GB of free email space. That time was really a good new to the public where most of the free email provider like Hotmail & Yahoo are still providing few hundreds MB of email space. While Gmail space has been keep on increasing…i stored most of my doc & files inside my gmail as well.  Then later it comes the Google Chat, where we are allowed to chat directly in the email browser…cool ya…

Then it comes the Picasa…for image viewing and some simple but handy photo editing function. Photo can edit & selected directly to mail to share with all our friends & relative via Gmail.

If we are not sure about the locations or map, Google Earth put the world’s geographic information at our fingertips.

Now we are able to prepare or edit our documents or spreadsheets with the internet browser with Google Spreadsheet. Although it’s functionality will not be as strong & as complicated compared with Microsoft Word or Excel, but it really provide ease while we are on the move. We are able to read/edit our doc anytime & anywhere regardless our pc have microsoft office installed.

For people who wish to make some revenue from the internet. We got Google Adsense. It’s really a cool idea where we are able to benefit from the world of advertising. I have heard a lot of success stories on poeple making money from Google Adsense. Although i have not making any income from Google Adsense yet, …but i’m looking forward to go for it…i do believe that this really need some hard work and it won happen overnight.

Then it comes a situation where we need to analysis our website or blog traffics. We have Google Analysis which is provided for free…i have just subcribe to it, will need this info to see how to improve and most difficult retain my blog traffic.

For people who view blogs daily like me, i feel that Google Reader has been very helpfull.

Seems like Google applications have been covering most of the aspect of our usage in the internet world. Will it be sooner or later that we no need any operation system?

Since i cannot do much with my less then 3 months blog (cannot participate in Blogsvertise, LoudLaunch, Smorty…etc and waiting 4 my Adsense status reply), what i can do now is to attract more visitors, so i going to try it out here…

i read through several blogs today and most bloggers are encouraged to install Top Commentators plugin in order to retain visitors.

I wanted to install this plugin as well but i encountered a big question –> how can i upload .php file to my blogsome??? I found a forum in Blogsome said that we can only upload image file to blogsome.

Can anyone give some idea to me on this? although currently i dun have Top Commentators plugin, i cannot rewards you with your valuable comments…but i truely appreaciate your comments on this…

Am i chosing the current platform for my blog?

Currently i’m using Blogsome. Since this is the initial stage of my blogging, it’s still not too late for me to do a fast blog migration. Shall i register in Blogger or WordPress …After using blogsome for two days,…i found out that most widgets & codes are directly supported in Blogger & WordPress…while i cannot do this in blogsome.

Of cause i have my planning eventually to have my own domain, so that i can do whatever customizations i want and also to prove that i’m serious about making money over the internet.

But i do think that i wanted to try out at some free blogging platform first before i move on to have my own domain. This will enable me to do some survey, warm up & analysis on how to drive traffic to my blog.  

Shall i stay with Blogsome? or Shall i move to Blogger or WordPress?…Any suggestion?

i’m always thinking to have my own notebook instead of the company’s one. the main reason that stop me for doing that –> what can i do with my own notebook? as viewing blogs have become a must do in my daily life, am i just going to use my notebook to view blogs?

sometimes desire will never ends. After i bought my notebook …what r the next tech gadget will be my next target? 3.5G handphone?　LCD tv?…which will have no ending.

I’m thinking of how to make use of some of my free time to get some extra income. of cause i will not involve in MLM (i have my own reason for this)…to me, it’s a big challenge. 

may be, have some income from online blogging will be my only choice till now…
